Long Hill is centrally located approximately 30 miles from New York City and 17 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport. Three NJ Transit train stations in Millington, Stirling and Gillette offer Midtown Direct service to Penn Station in Manhattan, a trip of about 60 minutes on the Morris & Essex Line.
Lakeland Bus also provides New York-bound service from a stop on Division Avenue in Millington or Mountain Avenue in Gillette to Port Authority in midtown. The ride is approximately an hour.
Long Hill Township is easily accessible to Interstate 78 or Interstate 287 leading to New York City or one of the many business campuses in the region.
